Liberty University’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction – Health and Wellness is designed to equip educators to help students learn principles of physical wellness that can help them live happier and healthier lives. Graduates of the M.Ed in Curriculum and Instriction – Health and Wellness will study a wide selection of nutrition topics, fitness techniques, and common health issues so that they can provide guidance to their students. This program wil also equip educators with advanced research and curriculum development skills that they can use to build effective learning tools and lesson plans for health education. The health and wellness specialization for the M.Ed. is ideal for students who are currently in the field of health education and want a specialized credential for career advancement, or for students who want to enter health education for the first time. Graduates of this program can apply their skills to the classroom in K-12 institutions, in the broader health industry as corporate consultants, and in public service to the community. By earning an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Health and Wellness, students will be well-equipped to pursue roles as community organizers, education policymakers, health and wellness instructional designers, K-12 health and wellness consultants, K-12 health and wellness curriculum coordinators, and K-12 health and wellness directors.
